Cooley earns "Super Lawyer" designation

Local attorney Scott Cooley of Martin Millican Cooley, PLLC, was named to the annual list of the best lawyers in Texas for the fourth time.  The 2017 Super Lawyers Annual List of Top Attorneys will be published in the October issue of Texas Monthly magazine.

The selection process for the annual "Super Lawyers" list includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations, which culminates in approximately 5% of attorneys in Texas making the final list.  Lawyers cannot nominate themselves and are prohibited from campaigning for this honor.  

Prior to practicing in Lampasas, Mr. Cooley was a partner in the Austin law firm of McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, and was Vice-President and Litigation Counsel for Fidelity National Title Group.  He joined the Martin & Millican firm in July of 2014, and since then has served as President of the Lampasas County Kiwanis Club and on the Board of Directors of the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce, where he is the incoming president.
